Happy Valentine's Day (a day late)

I hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine's Day, it used to be my favorite day of the year . . . sixteen years ago Joe and I celebrated our first Valentine's Day together, we drove up to Whistlin' Jacks Lodge on White Pass for a very romantic dinner. We loved it there so much that it's also where we honeymooned. A lot has changed over the years, it's now just another day and nothing special ever seems to happen. However yesterday morning I did wake up to a love letter from Joe and a raspberry white chocolate mocha . . .

I made all of Jakob's Valentine's this year along with his Valentine's Bag. It was actually suppose to be a box and because it wasn't he didn't like it. Jakob told me that he was embarrassed to take it to school . . . after hours of convincing him that he was going to have the coolest Valentine treat bag in his entire classroom, I finally got him to let it go. It also helped that one of his little buddies couldn't wait to see it.

I also made all my nieces and nephews special Valentine's and one for my parents too . . . and all though I waited until the last minute to get them done, I finished up and was able to deliver them before the day was through. Well except for a couple, they'll go out in the mail first thing on Tuesday. February is also a busy Birthday month, my niece, Camryn's is on the 6th, my Dad's is on the 13th and Kaitie's is tomorrow.
