A Road Trip . . .

With all the time Joe's been away from home lately, we decided to take a Family DAY Trip . . . we used to not even think twice about jumping in the car and driving somewhere, that hasn't happened in a very long time. We also wanted to do something fun to celebrate the end of Kaitie's middle school days. We let her decide, she chose the Oregon Zoo. I'm sure this will be the last time she's going to want to go to the zoo with her Mommy and Daddy. We had a Great Day! The weather was perfect, sunny and in the mid 80's. After walking around the zoo for about 5-hours every ones feet were tired and we decided to call it a day. We stopped and grabbed something to eat before heading back home. You can't go through the Columbia River Gorge without stopping at Multnomah Falls . . . it was as crowded as ever!

Jakob just loves to scare me to death . . . he's such a dare-devil! He about gave me a heart attack when we were actually up on the bridge.
